Takashi Hamamura, Veteran at HAL Laboratories, has resigned
Takashi Hamamura, game designer for HAL Labs, has announced that he has resigned from the company.
In a tweet posted on April 28, the veteran said (via preliminary translation) “Today is the last day of work at HAL Labs. Finally I want to do research activities. next month’s game plan. If you’re interested, please come!”
Hamamura worked on several games in Kirby franchise, perhaps most notably taking on the role of Game Director for the 2006 DS game Kirby: Squeak Squad. He also works in game design for Kirby Battle Royale and Kirby and the Rainbow Cursebut his credits go back to 2004 The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Hatwhere he served as a planner.
