Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga collection transformation icon will be updated in the next patch
Switch icon connoisseurs will soon have something to celebrate. Excellent Digital Eclipse Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will receive an update soon, and as part of that update, the game’s Switch icon is also getting a revamp.
Now, we know some of your lovely readers are pretty picky about your Switch icons, just like we are. And honestly, heroes in half-baked guise deserve a little better than what they originally got. Fortunately, Digital Eclipse has listened, and with the upcoming update, Switch owners will also be given a brand new menu icon.
The developer admits this is highly anticipated change on twitter after confirming that it will be live stream organization to show some “improvements” to the classic compilation:
“And yes, for those who don’t like the Transform icon for TMNT: Cowabunga Collection, when the title update is applied, the tile will become the main logo instead.
We heard you. We always listen to you.”
So the new icon looks pretty classy, right? It’s like the game’s box art, which is what many developers and publishers aim for these days. was not originally disgustingbut to say it ruffled the mouse.
In case you haven’t seen it, the current (soon to be removed) icon is a rather colorful screen decoration with all four turtles on it. But there’s no header, no logo, and the icon is designed to look like a small button that sinks into the Switch’s white background. Except it doesn’t work if you leave the Switch screen in dark mode. You can see for yourself in SuperDarkMimelV’s tweet below.
That’s it! We don’t know exactly when the update will roll out, but since Digital Eclipse will show some tweaks at 11am PT / 2pm ET tomorrow, we have a feeling that Our Switch screen will look a lot better soon.
What do you think of the original logo? Are you satisfied with the change? Let us know!
