Thailand CPI headlines rose 5.98% in October, lower than Reuters forecast

BANGKOK (Reuters) – Thailand’s leading consumer price index (CPI) rose 5.98% in October from a year earlier, Commerce Ministry data showed on Monday.
The results compared with October’s forecast for a 6.0% increase in a Reuters poll and followed a 6.41% gain in September. Core CPI rose 3.17% in October compared to October. a year ago, compared with a forecast increase of 3.20%.
