The miniseries spans five issues from 2020 to 2022 and is written by Kevin Eastman, Peter Laird, Tom Waltz, and Andy Kuhn, with art by Kuhn and Ben Bates, who are known for contributing to the Sonic the comics Archie’s hedgehog.

Rosen says that the game draws inspiration from recent third-person action RPGs like God of War, would fit the more mature style of The Last Ronin. This is a graphic novel not intended for children, but it is an absolutely brilliant novel that is loved by TMNT fans.
