When I was younger, I longed to be in NYFW, especially when the tents were located at Bryant Park. When I was in college, I had the opportunity to dress up models, clean the locker room, and have the opportunity to see Reem Acra’s runway show.
Only people watching in NYFW is all. You can see all the celebrities, influencers and their most famous people. You see how easy it is for people to express themselves in their fashion choices or look like a hot mess. (I’m watching but not judging) * Lips are sealed The most inspiring aspect is FINAL see models and women like me in high fashion.
These are my 3 favorite fashion shows from the NYFW Winter/Fall collection. I’ll talk about what stands out the most from each show and how to incorporate it into your wardrobe. Plus, for every style, I’ll give you the same style plus size options.
Brandon Maxwell
This collection was the inspiration for his “memaw,” who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. Unlike most of his collections there are bold colors and striking prints. Fashion feels like a warm body-hugging dress in neutral tones, a cable-knit cardigan with a satin long skirt.
Brandon Maxwell has up to 24 sizes and models Paloma Elsesser also enjoyed his runway show. The look below is a must-have for all plus-size women with a thick cable knit dress and suede above knee boots. There are so many possibilities to add color, style and personality.

This collection appeals to New York City residents to be classy, take their time, enjoy life and dress well. The runway is decorated with fur, elegant silhouette, perfect fit for autumn/winter. Featured tweed items with fur accessories and wide belts.
Michael offers sizes plus and up to 3x. You can find some of his designs at Macy’s. The look above is super simple but everything for your wardrobe. This suit can be worn in many ways and for many seasons. Don’t like a simple, clean and classic look?

This is my favorite NYFW Fall/Winter 2022 collection. Feminine, sleek silhouettes, fun prints, and bold colors. These designs call for a woman who knows what she wants, is confident, and doesn’t care what someone has to say.
Skirt skirt is here to stay. If you don’t have one yet, you must add one to your wardrobe NOW! They are a perfect addition as they are easy to wear up and down. Skirts are also great for layering during the colder months.
