Follow United States Travel Association, “National Holiday Planning Day” – held annually on the last Tuesday of January – encourages Americans to plan their holidays early in the year. The day aims to “highlight the importance of taking time to travel.”

Even after two years of living through the Covid-19 pandemic with people experiencing high levels of burnout, data compiled by the American Travel Association shows that Americans are still not using the holidays they are entitled to. According to the group, last year, American workers took an average of more than four days off – or 29% of their paid time off. In fact, only a quarter of Americans will use all of their earned vacation in 2021.

So, with the National Plan for the Holidays here, it’s a good time to reset, consider your options, and plan. And thankfully, there are plenty of travel deals out there to get you inspired and start thinking about how you want to spend your time this year.

Remember that the rules and restrictions surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic are changing frequently. If you’re comfortable traveling now, be sure to keep an eye on the regulations in your destination to make sure you can still travel as your vacation approaches.

Here are some of the best deals we’ve seen so far this National Planning Day for this Holiday.

Online travel agency Price path is offering a discount on the Country Package for the Holidays. The booking service is offering 10% off Express Deal hotels, flights and rental cars – including some of the best family hotel. To get 10% off when you book, use promo code VACA2022.

Save up to $50 on each booking, and the offer is valid until 11:59 p.m. on January 25. In addition, the terms state that the coupon is not valid for flight bookings made displayed on the Priceline app.

In a single day to celebrate National Holiday Day, Omni . Hotel & Resort are providing additional benefits to tourists. On January 25, the first 250 guests who book with Omni will receive a free room upgrade, subject to availability and for leisure stays only.

Also, for all bookings made directly with Omni through its website or phone number on January 25, the chain will donate five meals to Feeding America through Say Goodnight to Hunger initiative to fight to end hunger in the country.

Omni Hotels & Resorts has properties throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Eg, Omni Amelia Island Resort in Florida, Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa in Palm Springs and Omni Cancun Hotel & Villas All can be good options for a holiday later this year.

Doha-based Qatar Airways is encouraging Americans to book a vacation this year to a destination on the list Maldives, Seychelles and more. As part of the National Holiday sale, you can book round-trip tickets from the United States to multiple destinations for as little as $570. You must book travel by January 31 and travel by the date. April 30, 2022.

Follow condition of the deal, the low fare applies to one-way domestic tickets only. The lowest fares are also on basic savings, which means you won’t get some of the perks you’re used to enjoying checked baggage and seat selection.
