The cruise line just announced its longest cruise ever – an epic six-month trip


Azamara Another epic world cruise is about to launch – and it’s currently one of the longest in the cruise industry.

The small cruise line announced Wednesday longest journey in the world departing in 2027. Travelers on this 188-night cruise will visit 103 destinations in five continents and 37 countries.

Azamara’s preference for longer days in port and more overnight stays is well suited to around-the-world cruising. During the cruise, cruisers will enjoy 50 late-night port calls and 15 overnight stays.

The round-the-world cruise will take place on the Azamara Quest with 702 passengers and give travelers the opportunity to visit destinations across the globe, including Japan, Tahiti, New Zealand, Thailand, Alaska and Sweden . The ship’s size provides an intimate experience and allows cruisers to access both major cruise ports and narrower waterways that larger ships cannot access. For example, on its round-the-world cruise, the Azamara Quest will pass through Germany’s Kiel Canal and head straight into the heart of Shanghai.

Known for catering to wealthy, wealthy travelers, Azamara offers an intimate atmosphere onboard and itineraries focused on enriching experiences. World Cruise 2027 will feature 12 exclusive and free AzAmazing Evenings, allowing cruisers to explore iconic landmarks and cultural performances in port.

The around-the-world cruise begins in San Francisco on January 5, 2027, with some sailing days interrupted by port calls in Hawaii and French Polynesia.

From there, Quest will spend the rest of January visiting American Samoa and Tonga before starting February with stops in Fiji and New Zealand (Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin and others). Other highlights in February include port calls in Australia (such as Melbourne, Sydney and Kangaroo Island).

Travelers will spend spring ticking off a number of global experiences off their bucket lists. From March to April, tourists will visit Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan and South Korea – the ideal time for optimal cherry blossom viewing.

In May, Quest will travel along Alaska’s Inside Passage, making stops in Sitka, Juneau and Ketchikan, before visiting Vancouver and Victoria in Canada. The ship will continue south to Mexico and Costa Rica before transiting the Panama Canal. The service will then head to North America’s East Coast in June before crossing the Atlantic to call at Ireland and France.

The final leg of the around-the-world journey will take travelers through Northern Europe (including the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Estonia, Finland and Sweden) before the trip ends in Copenhagen on July 12 /2027.

If you don’t have 188 days of leave to spare, you can book one of 12 shorter legs.

Azamara’s World Cruise is now open for bookings. Fares for this cruise start at $85,559 per person (based on double occupancy) for an interior cabin.

While Azamara fares always include room service, gratuities, select beverages, self-service laundry, and AzAmazing Evenings, guests who book an entire world cruise can enjoy many perks additional. These include $8,500 in inflight credit, unlimited Wi-Fi, a free Premium Beverage Plan upgrade, and pre-flight amenities like airfare credits, one-night hotel stays, transfers and $500 baggage reimbursement (all over $40,000 per cabin, as per the lines).
