The Deadly Devils game has been delayed again, now coming in May
Update [Wed 9th Feb, 2022 00:15 GMT]: Evil Dead: Games got a new trailer today to make up for last month’s delay, but it doesn’t look like it’s the only news. The Switch version may not arrive with the others on May 13, 2022 – with Saber Interactive and Boss Games providing the following update (via Nintendo Everything):
“scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch in the future.”
You can check out the latest age-restricted trailer showing the pre-order bonus on Youtube.
Original article [Sat 29th Jan, 2022 04:30 GMT]: Looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer for Bruce Campbell’s return as Ash Williams – with Saber Interactive announcement Evil Dead: Games will no longer come this February.
In a social media update, it was revealed that the new title will now be released on May 13, 2022. It followed after a series of delays – the previous one was back last August.
In several additional tweets, Saber mentioned how this would allow the team to get things “just right” and thanked everyone for their patience and understanding.
Instead of releasing the game in February, pre-order information and a new trailer will now be shared in the same month. For now, it’s unclear exactly how this will affect the release of the Nintendo Switch.
