The exclusive Shin Megami Tensei V Switch has sold over 800 thousand copies worldwide
One of the highlights of RPGs on Switch, and last year in general, is Shin Megami Tensei DRAW by Atlus. It arrived on Nintendo consoles during November’s action-packed month of action and was hailed as a “modern masterpiece” in the series. very own review here on Nintendo Life.
It looks like the game is off to a strong start in terms of sales – with Atlus revealing the game has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide and thanking fans for their support.
“Happy New Year! In November 2021, Shin Megami Tensei V was simultaneously released worldwide, and it’s off to a good start, selling a total of more than 800k copies. Many thanks for that. your support.”
According to what’s most recent Sega Sammy Management Meeting 2021, which took place on December 14th, parent company Sega is very pleased with the global sales of SMT V so far. On the contrary, it was Shin Megami Tensei IV two years to achieve sales of only 600 thousand (Thank you, Persona Central).
