The Ferrari room of the Dallas mansion is a life-size car display cabinet
You might burst out laughing at this Dallas mansion now for sale, complete with a Ferrari-themed home office and adjoining Ferrari showroom alcove. You might think, “Wow, that’s a bit silly.” But man, stop for a second and think about it. You can totally do something like this in your house if your budget allows. Or if someone else on the deed allows it. Because if budget and other people allow, you too will have some beloved car that you happily encased in glass. Or some cars you’ll turn over. I know I absolutely will. Honestly, it’s a little surprising that the garage alcove is only accessed by a two-car garage.
This house, currently listed on Zillow with an asking price of $3,960,000, has an area of 4,853 square feet with just three bedrooms. This also seems to fit my dream home, because in addition to having a car showroom and an auto-themed home office, I also sacrifice my bedroom for some sort of theme bar. and home cinemas like this one also have. Basically, the taste may not be to my/your taste, but the idea is for sure.
Apparently, the whole house was inspired by the movie”Tron: Legacy. “I’m not sure about that yet, but I’m guessing there’s no Ferrari F8 Tributo in it. It also includes clear Italian porcelain floors (a fitting pairing for a Ferrari room) and a Crystal Chandelier. Murano, including one that hangs over a Ferrari.Be careful when dusting.
And according to car and racing reporter Alanis King (who unearthed this gem), the office mural depicts Fernando Alonso crashing in 2018. As she notes, an intriguing choice.
Finally, wouldn’t it be great if the home buyer wasn’t a car enthusiast and just put their RX 350 in the living room display case? Maybe a lawn mower? Just say.
