How can you make a difference? ” Organizer Robert Presswood said, Mr. Tim Cook, with Two Rivers Bank, is very proud to have helped organize this event. “Someone goes up and gets a meal – that will probably be the only meal they eat. And if we can help deliver that, that’s great,” Cook said. Platinum Kutz’s free meal is only available on Wednesdays. Across town, generous Iowans are donating food for Thursday’s Department of Hope’s free dinner at Bethel Mission. Donors gave up a lot of cakes, cookies and breads. It is expected that the Ministries will provide 3,300 pre-prepared meals on a pre-order basis. It’s too late to reserve, but you can drop by for in-person dining between noon and 1pm. They appreciate all donations. “We offer meals here at HOPE Cafe, free meals, every meal, every day of the year. So it’s not just our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, but we’re stocking our pantry with these massive donations,” Kathy Coady told the Department of Hope. . Volunteers at Chuck’s Restaurant are cutting 1,300 pounds of turkey. No Live Meals This Year Due to COVID-10 “It wouldn’t have been possible without our volunteers.
