- 2002 – The company was started by Andrew Housser and Brad Stroh
- 2003 – Freedom Debt Relief was launched – This is the year that the company opened its first office in San Mateo, California
- 2004 – A total of 11 clients were served – With its first year behind it, a total of 11 clients were successfully served by the Freedom Financial Network
- 2005 – The company had now grown to 100 team members – This is the same year that a total of 44 clients benefited from the financial products and services offered by the Freedom Financial Network
- 2006 – More than $8 million in consumer debt was settled successfully
- 2007 – A major jump occurred and over $45 million in debt was settled on behalf of the clients of the Freedom Financial Network
- 2008 – By 2008, more than 2,500 clients were being served and over $100 million in debt was settled
- 2009 – The Freedom Financial Network was now settling more than $300 million in debt for the year while serving 7,658 clients
- 2010 – The numbers have now jumped to more than $700 million in settled debt and 17,849 clients being served
- 2011 – This was the first year that the company crossed the $100 billion threshold for settled debt – The Freedom Financial Network was now serving nearly 36,000 clients and had 500 team members
- 2012 – This was the first year that more than 68,000 clients were served and benefited from a debt settlement plan
- 2013 – The number of clients served by the Freedom Financial Network had now jumped to 109,070
- 2014 – Now the company was settling debt in excess of $2 billion while serving just under 150,000 clients – More than $100 million in consolidation plus loans were originated as well
- 2015 – More than $3 billion in debt was settled on behalf of 205,002 clients
- 2016 – More than $5 billion in debt was settled for 295,330 clients
- 2017 – The Freedom Financial Network was now settling $7 billion in cumulative debt each year
- 2018 – 561,573 clients were served and more than $2 billion in loans were handed out
- 2019 – The company now reached $10 billion in cumulative debt being settled
- 2020 – More than $12 billion in debt was settled and $5 billion in loans arranged
The Freedom Financial Network Story continues to be written. Following its two-decade track record of growth, all indications are that many people will continue to be served. Debt settlement is what the company aims to do and there are many Americans who will testify as to their effectiveness.
