Every year on her birthday, Joanna Strong and her parents celebrate a double-digit big day by making a special trip to the hospital. It’s definitely a roller coaster ride. Joanna had a rough start to life. We went to a regular 28 week appointment. I think that’s just good news for us. But soon the doctor shared with us that he had no good news for us and that we needed to go downtown immediately. Born at 28 weeks, Joanna weighed just 1.04 ounces. Her feet are the size of my thumb. For some reason, she stopped growing, so the doctors decided C-zone emergency was the only way to save her. overtime If she doesn’t, um, take care of today. It’s fragile. Joanna fought for her life in Nick. Remember a nurse who told me she was tiny, but she was brave enough to finally go home after 125 days, and how did they feel when it was your last day in the nick? You and I can only scream. I was like, Oh my gosh, Let’s Go, Let’s Go, A decade later, Joanna is happy and healthy. It just makes my heart feel warm. Gentle reminders of those early months. Now hang it on the family Christmas tree. Joanna’s outfit every day is a different hat. She’s not allowed to get dressed in case something catastrophic happens. They will need to get to her breasts quickly. One day I just looked through everything, and I thought, Oh my gosh, this is what I have to do And with what White? With each seam, Lindsay weaves together memories of the past and encouragement for the future. I feel it is very important to make them feel warm and comfortable during very difficult times. It’s probably like it’s impossible to hate people. Joanna helps choose patterns and colors and they distribute them together. It’s good to see you. Oh my God! It’s correct. There is no better way to think that the doctors and nurses have saved you. I still remember you coming in the day she was born, and it was like, Oh my gosh, what a whirlwind it was to come back to help the kids they’re saving now. We just wanted to share them with you and thank you. I have a few different sizes. It’s a really tough time for parents, as you know, and yes, this simply puts a smile on everyone’s face. Yeah, the fact that it came from someone who’s been through it only offers sure hope. That’s great. This is not just a reunion. She has grown up like a 10 year old girl. You know, it’s always gratifying to see this as an opportunity for doctors to see their impact. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster ride for the parents while they’re there, and a lot of them go through some really important hardships and emotional impact, especially when this is the time of year to be with you. You know that a lot of the story stays with you for a long time, and then when you see him, it brings it back. Nurse Rachel Evans took this photo of Joanna 10 years ago. Today, she’s donating Joanna’s hat to these little patients, a simple act of kindness their parents hope will bring them to tears. Um makes them think Oh, yes. Now there is light at the end of the tunnel. Each year on December 6, Joanna and her mother spread that light with gratitude. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Totally appreciate all that you guys have done.
