The Last of Us’ Nick Offerman hasn’t picked up the game since Banjo-Kazooie

Nick Offerman, best known for playing the grumpy park department head in Park and Recmost recently played Bill in last week’s episode of Our last. The Unexpectedly deep love story told in the third volume of HBO’s zombie survival series is a departure from Bill and Frank’s Original Storyline in the game. Offerman sit down Jimmy Kimmel live on Wednesday to talk about the role and about singing a Linda Ronstandt song for his performance.

Naturally, Kimmel asked Offerman if he had ever played this game Our last. While the quick answer is no, Offerman explained why. As it turns out, he’s no stranger to video games. He just made the deliberate choice to never pick up another one again after losing two weeks of his life to Rare’s 1998. Banjo-Kazooie.

“I decided I would never do it again,” Offerman announced to Kimmel, after recounting the sweet dopamine rush and subsequent fall after being defeated.
