Christopher Lloyd is adding another iconic sci-fi series to his career.
The Back to the future the actor on the board called MandalorianDisney + Star Wars the show is currently filming its third season in southern California.
The character details for his role are being locked up in the Delorean’s crate but it’s essentially been described as a guest star.
Lloyd plays the time-traveling scientist Dr. Emmett Brown in Back to the future trilogy (1985-1990), with the role becoming the longest of his long career. On the sci-fi front, he also plays the villainous Klingon Commander Kruge in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (In 1984). He is the winner of many Emmy Awards, including the popular sitcom taxi (1978-83). Recently, he appeared in the action movie Bob Odenkirk Nobody for Universal, as well as directed by George Clooney Bidding bar.
Mandalorian has a record for bringing in characters from legendary series. Michael Biehn, star of Destroyer, such as appearing in a memorable episode of season two.
Mandalorian, from executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, launched in November 2019 as Disney+’s flagship show, helping to drive impressive subscriber growth. Season two takes place in late 2020, with the first spin-off, Books by Boba FettReleased on December 28th. Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal as a bounty hunter drawn to Grogu, a young member of an alien race who also considers Yoda a member. Along with Pascal, the series’ main characters expected to return include Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito.
No release date has been revealed for Mandalorian season three. Lucasfilm is currently gearing up for the May 25 premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobistarring Ewan McGregor.
