Earlier this week, a Youtuber and programmer named Dragon shared a new Pokémon project they’ve been working on. It is a Pokémon first-person shooter (yes, really) is powered by Unreal Engine, and in it, you have to ah … shoot pocket monsters, instead of catching them.
Many were wondering how long it would be before the legal ninjas showed up on the scene and now it has been discovered that the YouTube videos of this game (uploaded by the creator) have been copyrighted. by The Pokémon Company International.
The creator has previously mentioned how the project is still in development, and while work is presumably continuing, it looks like there will be some difficulty uploading videos to YouTube from here on out. Go. Having said this, you can still find video footage elsewhere online. Dragon also believes that “Nintendo hitman” will be a quick hit, if the game is released to the public.
If you want to capture some ‘Mon’ you can always try photography games, New Pokémon Snap. There are also creature shooters, Palworld – on the way to Steam this year. Are you surprised to see TPC taking action against these videos? Leave a comment below.
