The Story of the Plague: Requiem makes both Amicia and Hugo much more dangerous
Developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Entertainment gave another look at A Plague Tale: RequiemMouse-filled sequel coming A Plague Tale: Innocence. The new trailer details more than what players can expect from Requiem’s story, as well as the gameplay changes.
As seen in the new gameplay trailer, Requiem takes place six months after Innocence in the South of France, an area where plague-infected rats have yet to reach. However, that wasn’t the case for long, and the group of sisters and brothers Amicia and Hugo were once again engaged in a race for survival to stay one step ahead of the ferocious rodents and factions. who wanted the two brothers dead.
Requiem makes some pretty significant changes to Innocence’s gameplay, as Amicia has become more skilled, able to fight more effectively with a variety of tools, and with both stealth and combat abilities. Hugo is also a lot more dangerous – he can now see through the eyes of mice, spotting enemies through walls. He can also, in a difficult situation, control rats and order them to eat unsuspecting enemies.
The trailer also gives us a look at some of the characters Amicia and Hugo will befriend during their travels, many of whom seem to impart new skills to Amicia to use when she wants to. sneak up on the guards or try to kill them.
A Plague Tale: Requiem slated to launch on Xbox Series X | S, PS5, Switch, and PC on October 18.
