Regarded as one of the greatest superstars in WWE history, The Phenom has won numerous titles, countless events, and beat big names throughout his career. He will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year in his home state of Texas.
In his appearance on the latest edition of Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Phenom was asked to describe his off-screen personality. He says he’s more colorful now and that he’s trying to rediscover who he is beyond wrestling.
“My off-screen personality… I’m a lot lighter,” said The Undertaker. “I’m not nearly as dark as what you see on TV. I like to crop up, love to play practical jokes with people. At this point, there’s been a long stretch where it’s hard for me to turn off. Undertaker . rediscover who Mark Callaway is and the many things I’ve sacrificed for my career and personality that I have to do now.” (10:00-11:00)
The Undertaker Says He Would Still Wrestle If His Body Allowed Him
The Undertaker has announced his retirement from fighting in the ring at Survivor Series 2020. He has suffered from multiple injuries throughout his career, so he realized it was time to hang up his boots.
More than a year later, the legend says he’s glad he can spend time with his family. That being said, he added that if it were up to him, he would “probably” still compete in the ring.
“And then it was really great [that] I’m going to end up spending time with my kids and my wife, just quality time, not time where I sit there thinking about, “Okay, I’m going to have this competitor and what can I do? different here,” continued Undertaker: “I miss being in the ring and if my body allows it, I’ll probably still be out there. But it’s nice to be at home and not have to worry about what I have to do next. “(11:00-11:49)
Deadman will be inducted by the WWE President into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022 Vince McMahon.
