The 2022 Money in the Bank ladder match winner Theory announced a major rematch for the USA Title for SummerSlam on WWE REASON.
At Money in the Bank this past Saturday, he grabbed the briefcase after being announced as a last-minute participant. However, he lost the previous US championship the night before to Bobby Lashley.
On the latest episode of RAW, the new US champion took to the ring to kick off the show’s July 4 edition and celebrate his win.
While Lashley basked in the reaction from the crowd, Theory’s musical hit with Mr. MITB appeared on the ring. While promising to cash in on his championship contract during the SummerSlam main event, Theory also announced that he will have a rematch with Lashley for the US championship. Lashley responded by telling the beginner he might not get there.

Theory then attacked Lashley with a Money in the Bank briefcase, but the former WWE champion was able to hit back and send the former US champion packed a giant pack of chokeslams.
