This crazy plane is part VTOL, part airplane
The Transwing is an amazingly unique aircraft that is part VTOL and part traditional aircraft. The aircraft began flights with its wings laced, in VTOL mode, eliminating the need for a long runway. When it reaches the desired altitude, the wings will push forward and turn it into a more traditional fixed-wing aircraft. Upon reaching its destination, the Transwing retracted its wings and began a vertical landing in the same fashion as it did for takeoff. The Transwing could eventually become a better alternative to more traditional planes thanks to its superior agility, smaller airport footprint and Its ability to handle a larger payload than many similar crafts.
