Thompson, Man., emergency responders save teen girl from Burntwood River – Winnipeg


Emergency personnel in Thompson, Man., rescued a 17-year-old lady from the Burntwood River, police mentioned.

The incident occurred Tuesday night, when police had been known as to the river close to the Miles Hart Bridge within the northern Manitoba metropolis.

Police and paramedics set out into the water in boats and located the teenager who was struggling to remain afloat after having been within the water for round quarter-hour.

She was taken to shore, then to native hospital.
