Anne Hathaway is in the midst of a style renaissance, thanks in part to stylist Erin Walsh. After years of public debut, recent red carpets have seen the actor pursue a bolder style, experimenting with everything from Valentino pink mini skirt to one Christopher John Rogers rainbow polka dot set. But not everything can be captured by the paparazzi. Enter: Walsh’s TikTokproved to be the center of behind-the-scenes footage, exclusively showing short clips of some of Hathaway’s best looks in recent memory, including her Met Gala long dress held together by golden paper clips, and a brilliant hooded clothes from a Bulgarian event in Venice.
Walsh started posting to TikTok in August 2022, but she didn’t start sharing some of her expertise with Hathaway until this past January. Since then, she has taken her followers to award ceremonies, campaign photo sessions, and fashion shows. Walsh guided them through some of her favorite styling moments, including lots of fun with Hathaway.
“I think the lesson is you play big or you go home, and sometimes the big risk pays off,” Walsh said. on TikTok related to Hathaway’s leopard print outfit from head to toe at the Valentino couture show. Walsh has also shown she’s paired Hathaway’s monochrome purple outfit in Tokyo, her alligator Versace mini dress, and her Armani Privé dress with white sequins at the Cannes Film Festival. Not to mention the behind-the-scenes footage of Hathaway’s Versace Campaignfeatured a monogrammed cape and matching coffee mug.
In addition to Hathaway, Walsh’s clients include Adriana Lima, Lucy Hale, Sydney Sweeney and Ashley Park. Walsh was recently named one of Hollywood’s most powerful stylists by hollywood reporter, and in order to get noticed, Hathaway said, “Erin considers my idiosyncrasies a strength.” Hathaway went on to say she appreciates the fashion risks that Walsh encourages, allowing her to explore and try new things. “I’ve never had so much fun – and it must be fun, right?”
