TMNT: First big updated Cowabunga collection, here are the full patch notes

Digital Eclipse introduced a brand new update to their featured TMNT compilation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, yesterday. And today, during a live stream, the developer shared some key details that are part of the game’s first major update – including: New Home icon (thank, gemstone!).

The game’s first update is now available to download on Switch, and the other big title of online multiplayer has been added. Turtle in time (SNES). Basic! Now you can play one of the best TMNT games of all time online with your friends!

New addition

  • The Home Menu icon has changed to box art. (Switch)
  • PlayStation 4 arcade controller is now supported. PlayStation 4 joystick support is now rolling out (PlayStation 5).
  • Xbox arcade stick is now supported. Xbox joystick support is now rolling out (Xbox).
  • When creating an online lobby, players can now set the lobby size for two video games. Servers can be limited to two, three or four players.
  • When creating an online lobby, players can now set the frame delay to “Auto”. With this setting, the input delay will adjust according to the number of players.
  • A new improvement added Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fighter. Ultimate attacks can now be toggled in Story Mode ON/OFF.
  • A new enhancement has been added to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters. “Group Mode” can now be turned ON/OFF. (Only available in Japanese version.)
  • A new enhancement has been added to the JP/NA arcade version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The number of lives per coin can be adjusted from one to five.
  • A new improvement added to the North American arcade release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time. The number of lives per coin can be adjusted from 1-8.
  • A new innovation has been added to JP/NA’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video game. Difficulty can be adjusted.
  • A new innovation has been added to the NA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time video game. Difficulty can be adjusted.
  • A new innovation has been added to the NA Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time video game. Game loop can now be turned ON/OFF. When ON, the game will restart from the beginning after the attribution.
  • New button action added to “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (JP/NA Arcade),” “Teen Mutant Turtle Ninja: Turtle in Time (NA Arcade).” “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtle in Time” and “Teenage Mutant Turtle Ninja: Super Speed ​​Stone Thief.” Players can now assign a button to “Special”.   • Visual settings are saved for each game.

Fixed problem

  • The German translation of “Punch Repeatedly” for the Page 11 Strategy Guide has been corrected.
  • In the music player, the cassette icon for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show now shows the correct icon.
  • On page 5 of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Strategy Guide. Screenshot Turtle Tip 3 has been replaced.
  • In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time, the Stage Selection enhancements now work even after changing the setting in Preferences.
  • In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Hyperstone Heist, the Stage Pick improvement now works when selecting two players.
  • Enhanced Easy Menu Navigation for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project currently working.
  • Additional Credits improvements for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters are now live.
  • The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time manual in the museum currently includes pages 18 to 19 that are missing.
