“Too good for them”

Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has backed Arsenal past Everton in their upcoming meeting in the Premier League and a 2-0 win at Goodison Park.

Leaders Arsenal are currently five points ahead of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League table, with a match in hand. They lost 0-1 to Manchester City in their most recent game, in the FA Cup, but Mikel Arteta rested many of his key players in that game.

On the other hand, Everton are on a 3-match unbeaten run in the Premier League. The Merseysiders, who are currently struggling in 19th place in the league standings, recently replaced the coach. Frank Lampard with Sean Dyche, in hopes of changing fortunes.

However, Sutton doesn’t think a coach switch will benefit them and has predicted the Gunners will beat Dyche on their own. Everton debut. In his BBC column, Sutton wrote:

“Arsenal rested a number of players during the FA Cup match against Manchester City and paid the price. However, they still played pretty well at the Etihad Stadium and I think they had a really good chance – signing Jorginho, Cedric Trossard and Jakub Kiwior to strengthen the squad for the title target.

“Conversely, Everton haven’t signed anyone and it looks like their new coach Sean Dyche has a huge task at hand to keep them – he’s really lost a player, with Antony Gordon’s move to Newcastle.”

Sutton added that although Dyche’s management and the Goodison crowd will power Everton, they simply don’t have the Gunners’ qualities.

“We know the Goodison Park audience will support the team and the way Dyche manages, he will try to capitalize on every last bit of effort from his players. So the effort will be there, but I still don’t see Everton getting a win or even a draw.

“Arsenal is too good for them and, as I said on Monday Night Club, getting the job at Everton now is like being the captain of the Titanic, hours after it hit an iceberg. .”

Sutton’s final prediction: 0-2.

Takehiro Tomiyasu reveals the secret behind Arsenal’s Premier League title

Last season, Mikel ArtetaTheir team lost in the final stages of the season. They dropped important points at the end of the game to stay out of the top 4. Arteta was criticized by a part of the fans championship slide slot, but the board chose to keep their faith in the Spaniards.

Things seem to be falling into place in north London this season, with the Gunners emerging as real contenders for the Premier League title. In a recent interview with GOAL, right-back Takehiro Tomiyasu explained exactly what has changed at Arsenal in such a short period of time.

The Japanese player said:

“We understand better [about] Mikel’s Football. We’ve got depth, we’ve got some new players, but the most important thing is that we understand Mikel’s football better than last season.

“Last season we understood. But we cannot express it. But this season we understand and we are showing how he wants us to play. This is a big difference.”

Arsenal’s last game Premier League victory came in the 2003-04 season, an incredible event 19 years ago. They ended the season unbeaten at the time (26 wins, 12 draws), becoming the only Premier League team in history to do so.
