Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid, Lexus RX plug-in, Buick Wildcat EV concept: Car News Today

Buick displays an electric Wildcat. Lexus is offering three hybrid flavors of a redesigned RX crossover, including PHEVs and performance hybrid versions. And one of the few remaining Toyota models that hasn’t been offered a hybrid version will get one. This and more, here at Green Car Report.

Toyota has announced a hybrid version of the Corolla Cross, one step smaller than the RAV4 in its lineup – and it confirmed that the hybrid version will be produced in the US. The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid It can be distributed based on price and value, but based on rough numbers, its gas mileage could actually be lower than that of the RAV4 Hybrid.

Lexus has revealed a redesigned fifth-generation version of the RX crossover, and there are a number of different ways the range has become more electrified. With the V-6 banished, Lexus RX 2023 Series will soon include three hybrid models: the RX 450h + plug-in hybrid, the RX 350h hybrid and the RX 500h F Sport Performance with Lexus’ Direct4 directly connecting the electric motor at each axle.

And Buick Wildcat concept shows a new and different design direction for GM’s Buick brand, ahead of the arrival of the first EV in North America in 2024. GM also revealed that the Electra name will apply to a range of Buick EVs.
