Newlyweds Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are contemplating “a scary and emotional week.”
The couple posted on their verified social media accounts about Barker’s recent hospitalization.
“I had a colonoscopy on Monday, feeling great,” Barker wrote in a note posted on his Instagram story. “But after dinner I was in severe pain and have been hospitalized ever since.”
Blink 182’s drummer explained that during the colonoscopy, he had “removed a very small polyp right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damages a critical pancreatic duct.”
“This leads to severe, life-threatening pancreatitis,” he wrote. “I am very grateful for the intensive treatment, I am much better now.”
Barker and Kardashian officially got married in May and threw a lavish celebratory party in Portofino, Italy.

“Oh what a scary and emotional week,” she wrote. “Our health is everything and sometimes we assume how quickly it can change.”
The businessman and TV star wrote that she is “grateful to God for healing my husband” and “all your prayers for him and for us, for the love and support.” overflowing ”.
