Trenton Cannon Injury Update: 49ers RB leaves field in ambulance after terrifying collision with Seahawks
The 49 runners-up Trenton Cannon was taken off the field in an ambulance after suffering a concussion during his team’s opening game against the Seahawks Sunday in Seattle.
Cannon was trying to intercept return to Seattle DeeJay Dallas when his head hit teammate Talanoa Hufanga’s leg. Cannon’s neck seemed awkwardly twisted. After the first hit from Hufanga, his head hit another teammate’s leg, causing it to move in the other direction.
The medical team stepped out to examine Cannon. Immediately, a medical vehicle came out, followed by an ambulance. Cannon was taken to a local hospital.
