Trial of Saskatoon man accused of first-degree murder as a youth begins – Saskatoon


The trial of a man accused of killing a former Indian Posse gang member started on Oct. 4.

Winston Littlecrow died from a gunshot wound in December 2019 after members of the Terror Squad, a rival gang, have been searching for retaliation.

The incident passed off at a residence on Avenue X close to twenty third Avenue and was the 16th homicide in 2019 — a record-breaking 12 months.

The person was 17 years outdated on the time of the alleged offence and can’t be named below the Youth Prison Justice Act.

He’s charged with first-degree homicide and possession of a firearm whereas prohibited.
