Donald Trump walked out of an interview with Piers Morgan in an excerpt of an episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Trump is seen as calling Piers “a fool” and “very dishonest.” He then told the TV crew to cut off the camera as he walked away.
“I think I’m a very honest man…a lot more honest than you are,” Trump said.
“Really?” Morgan asked.
“That’s right,” Trump replied.
Trump released a statement about the interview after it was released.
“Piers Morgan, like the rest of Fake News Media, tried to illegally and fraudulently edit his long and tedious interview with me,” he said.
Piers revealed that he has been in contact with the Trump family. Trump didn’t speak to Piers, but he and Ivanka remained very calm.
“She said, ‘Actually, I’m staying with Dad and Jared right now.’ I said, ‘Well, tell your dad’ – I think I’ll be careful about how I phrase this – ‘Tell your dad I almost miss him.’ She laughed.”
