4 DIY Boudoir Tips To Love Yourself A Little
1. Into the right first space
Not long ago, there was an article in TCF about affirmation. So, before you move into your space or rummage through the drawers to find your favorite pair of lace socks, take a moment to settle your mind. This moment is for you!
Go back and read 21 self-care and self-love affirmations for people with more money and sit for a while – all to yourself. Be grateful now and for what you are in 2023. Honor your body and its imperfections. Speak life into your heart and smile! You are so beautiful!
You are your own director! A “classic boudoir” is a women’s bedroom or separate sitting area (hence the French word “boudoir”). However, in 2023, we can do whatever we want! So set the stage wherever you want!
Want to stick with the “bedroom” scene? Dress up a beautiful bed with beautiful linens, plush pillows, or not! You can be as neat or messy as you want! Have a dope window facing a great view? Take a photo overlooking the horizon!
Want to do a kitchen scene? Clean it or not, depending on what you have in mind! Got a plain colored wall or even a textured wall? Use it as your backdrop or create a background using pre-made panels, fabric or backdrops! This is your DIY moment!
Now, this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for… dress up for your DIY Photo shoot! Of course, what you wear or don’t wear is entirely up to you and your comfort! So consider stepping out of yourself and trying something new to make you feel sexy, seductive and sexy!
And if you need help finding plus size lingerie, we’ll help you (or don’t).
Choose your makeup, shoes (if any), and accessories. Just give it a try! Check out the different looks on Pinterest or even search “Boudoir Idea Plus Size” on TCF for more inspiration!
You’ve set up your stage and created your interface (or appearance). You know where and how you will pose (or at least have some ideas). Great! So what about the camera? Camera? Mobile phone? I would recommend a tripod for freedom of movement. Otherwise, prop up your phone with what you have!
Play around with lights, with ring lights or whatever you have. Don’t stress about what you don’t have and focus only on what you have. Do a few test runs to test the distance. Use small pieces of paper to mark where you should flow creatively!
Do you have a close friend or family member who could be a day photographer? By all means, use them or even organize a date with your best friends and take turns! Solo or notes, it’s important to enjoy yourself!
