Tucker Carlson Eats Up Fox Guest’s Claim of ‘Rampant Abuse’ of Ballot Drop Boxes in 2020

Tucker Carlson on Thursday began a segment on the use of voting boxes in the 2020 election by once again misjudged a position of the Biden administration.

“Now it is really a crime to question what happened in the last presidential election. That’s not an overstatement, by the way,” said Carslon, seemingly without any self-awareness. Then he repeated:

“The Department of Homeland Security, of course the law enforcement agency – the largest in the country – believes it is a crime to question the last election.”

That set the tone for Carlson’s interview with Catherine Engelbrecht, president of True the Vote, a conservative group that says its goal is to prevent voter fraud. Engelbrecht, Carlson said from the start, is “conducting what appears to us to be a completely legitimate, cool-headed investigation” into the 2020 election.

Engelbrecht presented how she came to the conclusion that there is “pervasive abuse” of drop boxes. She said her organization has “invested in a tremendous amount — 10 trillion cell phone pings—[of] Geospatial data allows us to track device movement around drop boxes [and] to develop life models and determine if unique devices repeatedly drop boxes. “

“Over time, that became a pattern that included not only drop boxes but also left organizations,” Engelbrecht stated, “and we found a pattern that matched the relationship between both hold and drop boxes.”

Engelbrecht confidently says that data is “immutable”.

Carlson, who later questioned why drop boxes were being used in pandemic-era elections, went on to accuse Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg of having the ability to “control the mechanics” of the election. —a theory promoted by one of Carlson’s “Big Lies” – encourage guests to return in March. “No matter what the Constitution says, they will do what they want through legislation and consent decrees,” she asserted. “So if Americans don’t wake up and realize that… there’s an abuse of process, we’re sifting to a really ugly place. Based on our data, 2020 is without a doubt – that outcome will be different. ”

The “subversion” is supposed to be real, Engelbrecht added, and we have to take it seriously because it won’t fix itself.

“Yes, yes,” agreed Carlson. “It is always the same book. They yell at you so aggressively that you have to step back… and then you realize they’re yelling at you because you’re on the right track. It’s always been the same.”
