TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Zoo celebrated World Penguin Day on Monday with a reminder of its penguin show that started 20 years ago.
The zoo posted photos of some of the penguin figurines they sold while raising money for an exhibit that Tulsans can now see all over town.
The zoo sold 107 penguin figurines to companies, businesses and individuals to raise $200,000 to complete the exhibition in 2002.
