TV presenter apologizes online to Adele, says he “insulted” her
Adele did not publicly respond to Doran’s apology or initial reports of the interview breakdown.
During his airing interview, Doran denied the claims that the singer left their interview prematurely. “The interview itself, Adele didn’t step out,” he said. “It was running overtime.”
Doran said the majority of the interview focused on Adele’s new music, and the two also “talk about the paradox of being the most famous artist in the world but hate being famous. We also discussed the concept. pure art, Adele’s majesty. voice, what it must feel like to hear that sound coming out of one’s own mouth!”
He also said he learned “How” Go Easy on Me “is formed in part by singing acapella in the shower,” referring to the singer’s new single “Easy on Me.” Doran said the interview lasted 29 minutes and called Adele “deep, funny, raw and honest.”
