“I’m sure, you know, he didn’t really mean it and people make mistakes, but that doesn’t offend me in the slightest,” Cortes told The Associated Press. “So you know, I really don’t have anything more than that, to be honest.”
Last month, Cortes deleted his Twitter account and apologizes for the tweets he made high school where he uses the N word.
