Twitter launches Tweeten application for Mac, Windows to replace TweetDeck
Twitter has launched a Tweeten app for Windows and Mac to replace the old TweetDeck app. Twitter previously announced that it was “goodbye” to the TweetDeck app for Mac to focus on making it better and testing a new preview of Twitter. The microblogging platform has announced that the app will no longer be available for Mac users as of July 1, but users can still access TweetDeck on the web. The new app looks similar to TweetDeck, making the conversion phase easier for users.

This new app will replace the old TweetDeck app. Tweeten has a user interface similar to TweetDeck that will make it easier for users to switch from the old app to the new one. It will allow users to tweet right from the app and create columns on all the different topics users want to follow. The Tweeten app is integrated with macOS’s Touch Bar allowing users to access important shortcuts directly from the touch bar.
Tweeten will also provide more ways than the TweetDeck app for users to customize the app to their preferences. This can be done from the settings menu. Tweeten that sends custom notifications to users will also allow them to retweet and like a tweet right from the notification. Users can also choose where notifications will appear on the screen and how long they will stay on. Twitter calls the new app “TweetDeck, but with all the important features.” Users can now filter accounts and tweets based on what they want to see. Tweeten will also allow users to download videos directly from Twitter.
Those who wish to download the Tweeten app on their Mac or Windows laptops and PCs can do so using Download link available on the Tweetnep website. Users can also choose to download the app as Google Chrome both extensions.
Twitter was there before announced that TweetDeck will no longer be available to Mac users as of July 1. Twitter added that TweetDeck will continue to be accessible to users across the web.
