If you happen to be in North America, there’s obviously a small eShop goodbye gift from Nintendo in the form of “free” 3DS HOME menu themes. Users in this area can now request the ‘Dots & Stripes: Yellow & White’ theme and the ‘Stars: Gold & Black’ theme from the Theme Shop. These themes were previously priced at $0.99.
If you launch the Theme Store in other locations such as the UK and Europe, its main section has ‘basic color sets’ and ‘simple color sets’, which most 3DS users have now redeemed . Unfortunately, the ‘Dots & Stripes’ and ‘Stars’ themes are not free here. If we have any other updates to the Theme Store, we’ll let you know.
