U.S. Senate confirms first out LGBTQ woman to serve on federal circuit court
Robinson, who has served as an affiliate justice on the Vermont Supreme Court docket since 2011, was confirmed in a 51-45 vote. Sens. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine have been the one Republicans to vote in favor of her affirmation.
Vermont’s senators voiced their help for Robinson on Monday.
