UC Berkeley will soon offer something lil’ for all super weird academics on their campus! But before your mind tours the gutter, the news is about a career-based course of Super weird girl mastermind Nicki Minaj.
And it looks like the rapper will be visiting when the course begins in the spring semester of 2023. On October 6, a Twitter user shared the news and tagged the mogul. Less than an hour later, Nicki replied, “I’d love to drop by.”
Finally that day, the professor leading the course arrived to thank Nicki and greet her gesture.

Barbz provides their support, professor thanks them
Based on professorname still unclear, she created her Twitter account in response to Nicki’s offer.
“I am not without social networks, BUT I just started a Twitter as soon as I heard about the topic,” the professor wrote.
And it looks like Barbz, Nicki’s loyal fan base, is also excited about the course. During this series, multiple accounts asked professors to post syllabus, record lectures, and make online versions of courses available to the public. Others even shared subject recommendations.
Can you post the syllabus when it starts so we can do the readings? I want to follow. I don’t know this might be a bit much but please also record the lectures 😂

The professor responded to requests and suggestions with gratitude for their support.
“Barbz: Thank you so much for your love and interest in my class! Words cannot capture my excitement and appreciation for all of your support. I feel very encouraged and I look forward to sharing more details as they are finalized,” she wrote.
The professor asked Nicki Minaj for her insight
In addition to thanking Nicki and Barbz, the professor also took the opportunity to see how else she could get Nicki Minaj involved. She asked the artist for her insight into the subjects.
“This class is interested in thinking critically about your works and yours in the context of the broader social and historical structure and hip hop feminism. So getting your personal insights will be AMAZING! I’m finalizing things this fall and would love to DM more details,” she wrote.
At this point, it’s unclear if Nicki and the professor will touch the private grounds. But at least students can look forward to the possibility of meeting Nicki, along with producing work about her!
