Ukraine will crush Putin’s invading forces and win the war, leader Volodymyr Zelensky vows in 100 days of conflict
PRESIDENT Volodymyr Zelensky announced yesterday that Ukraine will fight the Russians – in a video marking 100 days since the invasion.
As Moscow tightened the siege of the Donbas region, he declared: “Victory will be ours.”

The video includes Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal reiterating a message posted outside government buildings at the outbreak of war, vowing to stay in the country.
Earlier, Kyiv claimed that Vladimir Putin’s forces controlled one-fifth of Ukraine’s territory.
Russian forces intensify their attacks on the city of Severodonetsk in the Eastern Donbas.
Addressing lawmakers in Luxembourg, Mr Zelensky said the front line now stretched more than 600 miles.
He added: “All of Russia’s combat-ready military formations are engaged in this act of aggression.”
Former boxer Wladimir Klitschko, brother of mayor Kyiv Vitali, said Ukrainians “don’t want another 100 days of war”.
He called for continued pressure on the Putin regime, adding: “We must isolate Russia economically from the world.”
Foreign Secretary Liz Truss reaffirmed Britain’s support for Ukraine.
She said that Putin “expected the invasion to end in the next few days, but greatly underestimated the determination of the brave Ukrainians who heroically defended their country”.
