OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) – A new store in Overland Park is celebrating its grand opening today, hoping to bring youth back to all of us.
In stock before the new KC Brick Shop opens.
New and used Lego shop. It’s the only store of its kind in the subway.
Dan Barton said: “Yes, it was a dream come true.
Dan and Eric Barton have been collecting Legos for years, preparing for this day.
There are Lego sets, individual bricks, and Lego people.
“I wanted to separate people and build new people,” says a client named Andrew.
Some people are looking for Lego specifically.
Victor Yarin said: “I am looking for some knights, swords and helmets.
There’s still a lot to go through.
“A lot,” Yarin said. “The most I have seen in one place at a time. Sure. Like, a trillion here at one location. “
“I am very happy to be rearranging Legos,” said customer Rubner Sanchez. “You can build anything you want.”
“This is a really well-matched store,” says Yarin. “Like, for the first used Lego store in Kansas City, they’re doing great.”
“It was really good,” said Dan Barton. “We’ve had a lot of people come in and say, ‘You know, this is something we’ve needed in the area for a long time. I’m so glad you guys did this. ‘”
He says there’s even more to come. He said he was running out of time before he could display everything.
“There is always something new,” he said. “There will always be a different store every time you walk in.”
Bartons plans to host events at the store, such as construction nights and contests. They will even have a birthday party.
