Unite behind Liz Truss, says Rishi Sunak after defeat in UK PM race


LONDON: Former UK finance minister Rishi Sunak on Monday, thanking the supporters who supported him in Conservatives raced and said it was now time for them all to unite after the new UK Prime Minister Liz Shoes.

“I am honored to have been elected Leader of the Conservative Party. Thank you for placing your trust in me to lead and make our country great. I will take bold action to bring it all back. we get through these tough times, grow our economy, and unleash the UK’s potential,” Truss wrote on Twitter.
