Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday revealed Super Nintendo World will open next year. No specific date has been given, but the highly anticipated themed estate will open in popular destination Los Angeles in 2023.

The opening will mark the first Super Nintendo World in the US.

Universal Studios’ Hollywood enclave will feature a ride and several interactive areas, in addition to themed shopping and dining options.

Before opening, the amusement park’s Feature Presentation retail store will be converted into a store for Super Nintendo World. Exact dates for the takeover are pending.

The partnership between Nintendo and Universal was first announced in May 2015. Construction began at the Universal Studios Japan area in June 2017 with Super Nintendo World opening there in March 2021. , after several delays due to the pandemic.
