(Update) Young Thug’s attorney files an urgent motion for a bond hearing, accusing Prison Conditions of being “inhumane and torturous”
Brian Steel, Young ThugLawyers for, filed an urgent motion Friday for a bond hearing to release the rapper based on prison conditions.
According to WSBTV, Steel is calling Young Thug’s (real name Jeffery Williams) prison conditions “inhuman and torturous.” TMZ also said that the rapper has no human contact and is “being held in complete isolation in a windowless cement compartment with only a bed and toilet.”
As previously reported, police arrested the 30-year-old at his Buckhead home on Monday on charges of RICO, along with 27 others, including the rapper. Gunna (real name Sergio Kitchens). The indictment alleges that the 28 individuals named in the indictment were part of Atlanta’s Young Slime Life street gang, and that they had committed crimes in the city since 2012.
Of the 56 counts, Young Thug was charged with Conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Corruption and Influential Organizations Act and Engaging in criminal street gang activity, according to prison records. The RICO allegation relates to an incident that occurred in January 2013. The case of gang activity involves an incident from May 2018.
The indictment also lists Young Thug’s social media posts and lyrics from his music as “a public act aimed at furthering the conspiracy.” Specifically, prosecutors recovered the following bars from ‘Ski’ as evidence:

Prosecutors also accused Thug’s associates of obtaining his permission to make a second attempt to kill YFN Lucci while he was in the Fulton County Jail on charges of murder and fraud. .
Prosecutors allege that two YSL associates, CHRISTIAN EPPINGER and ANTONIO SUMLIN, worked to obtain permission. @youngthug make a second murder attempt @YFNLUCCI while he was jailed in Fulton County.
In addition to the RICO charge, Young Thug also received seven new felony counts of drugs and weapons found when he was arrested at his home on Monday. He was also denied binding because of a drug and weapons case with the judge calling him a “flight mishap.”
