WhatsApp on its FAQ page announced that it currently offers support and recommendations for the following devices: Android running OS 4.1 or later; iPhone running iOS 12 or later; KaiOS 2.5.0 and later, including JioPhone and JioPhone 2. “Before we stop supporting your operating system, you will be notified directly in WhatsApp first and prompted a few times to upgrade” , WhatsApp added.
