The U.S. 2022 men’s Olympic ice hockey team roster was announced on Thursday, and as expected, it’s filled with college players. Of the 25 players on the list, 15 are playing college hockey. Six other US players have played in the NHL.
You won’t find active NHL players on this year’s Olympic team. The federation decided not to send them to Beijing because of their decision to skip the Olympic holiday and postponed matches because of COVID-19. The NHL also did not send any players to the 2018 games.

This is the list of the United States men’s hockey team ahead of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. The men’s ice hockey competition will begin on February 9.
