US Olympic men’s ice hockey lineup: Three first-round picks, six former NHLers delegations to Beijing
The U.S. 2022 men’s Olympic ice hockey team roster was announced on Thursday, and as expected, it’s filled with college players. Of the 25 players on the list, 15 are playing college hockey. Six other US players have played in the NHL.
You won’t find active NHL players on this year’s Olympic team. The federation decided not to send them to Beijing because of their decision to skip the Olympic holiday and postponed matches because of COVID-19. The NHL also did not send any players to the 2018 games.

Who coaches the US men’s ice hockey team?
In keeping with this year’s team’s youth movement, Team America’s coaches have experience at the college level.
This year’s head coach is David Quinn, who spent three seasons as head coach of Rangers, where he recorded a 96-87-25 record. Team USA’s men’s ice hockey team at the Olympics
American men have succeeded in ice hockey history. They have won a total of 11 medals, including eight silver, the most of any country. However, the team hasn’t won a gold medal since 1980 in Lake Placid, NY; That lineup delivered one of the pivotal moments in American sports history with the “Miracle on Ice.”
