Shipment for Valve’s new handheld console, steam deck, has been trickling since its release, but shipments are about to accelerate. The company began “intensifying” the finishing touches on the dashboard on Monday, according to a Tweet from Valveand those who have pre-ordered the console will receive more emails about order availability weekly.
When the Steam Deck launches, those interested in purchasing the console can do so through the pre-order system. Since then, Valve has shipped purchases in the order that customers ordered them weekly every quarter.

According to Valve, “no reservation window has been changed or delayed,” and the company is simply providing additional clarification on the timing of each quarter.
