Vancouver police looking at speed, alcohol in hit-and-run that killed 66-year-old woman – BC

Police are taking a look at pace and alcohol as components in a lethal hit-and-run collision in East Vancouver on Saturday night time.

Vancouver police say a driver struck a 66-year-old girl close to Broadway and Industrial Drive round 10:20 p.m.

The suspect automobile, a silver 2005 Acura TL, fled with out stopping. The sufferer was taken to hospital however didn’t survive.

Police say they caught up with the suspect, a 30-year-old Surrey man, close to Clark Drive and Powell Avenue, and arrested him.
