Six people have been killed, including a male suspect who died in clashes with police, and another is hospitalized with serious but not life-threatening injuries following a shooting in Vaughan, Ont., on Sunday night.
York Regional Police (YRP) said the incident happened at an apartment building in the area of Jane Street and Rutherford Road.
Police said officers had arrived to find a number of victims who had been shot dead and the suspect was also killed after fighting with police.

The YRP has confirmed that five victims were shot dead before police arrived and that a sixth victim is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Nicolle said the investigation is in its early stages and officers are still looking for other victims who may have been injured in the shooting.
Nicolle also said the SIU was notified of the fatal collision between the suspect and YRP officers.
