On Monday, social media talked a lot about Paula Patton’s fried chicken recipe. Although the video was posted last month, it looks like it’s just starting to trend.
In the six-minute video, Paula says the recipe belongs to her mother and she is cooking it for her son’s class. As she washes and then puts the chicken in a Ziplock bag with flour, she tells the audience the five steps of preparing her dish. But one notable step cannot be missed: marinate the chicken before adding it to the dough.
As she continued talking into the camera, she put the chicken in butter oil. The mother-of-one then points to the three spices that will be used: Lawry’s Seasoning Salt, organic pepper and paprika. Patton says she “coats” the chicken with three ingredients. Finally, she turned the chicken over with two forks and took it out to eat. “These chickens are ready to go.”
One person said: “Some videos are much better in the dark or on camera roll.” Another said, “Someone came to get her, she seasoned with oil.” Another said, “Spiking chicken while it’s cooking is ridiculous.”
Roomies, what do you guys think of her recipe?
