It is known that crocodiles can eat other predators, but you may not really understand it until you see it.

Tammy Shaw witnessed it happen on August 4 at Silver Springs in Marion County.

Shaw said she was rowing through the springs on her inflatable skateboard when she crashed.

“I was just blown away by the sheer size of the gator and what he was eating,” says Shaw. “I wasn’t too worried because he was obviously busy but when he got into the water I was a bit worried about where he would surface.”

Shaw posted the video to a Facebook group called Alligators of Florida.

One commenter on the video said: “I never knew they would actually eat one of mine”, while another said: “Me too”.
